Ecuador

Eastwood began a three to five year strategic partnership in 2006 with Steve and Carol Thompson, who have been serving as church planters in Ecuador for more than twenty years. Their first twelve years of service in Ecuador were as IMB missionaries. Out of their great love and calling for the Ecuadorian people, Steve and Carol have transferred their citizenship to Ecuador so that they can remain on the field for the remainder of their lives. They now serve under the umbrella of Global Outreach.

 

They continue to work hand-in-hand with the Ecuadorian Baptist Convention, of which Steve has served as the Executive Director. Steve and Carol have assisted Ecuadorians in starting more than 25 churches, and they are currently working with at least 10 new church plants.
